Savanna loves her bath

I apologize for the baby nudity but, I just had to show how much she loves her bath. As soon as you put her into the water she starts her "swimming". She "swims" all the way down to the drain and then I have to pull her back and she'll do it all over again. She loves it! I can officially say she is done with her ducky, baby tub. Rob used his new found video editing skills to make it rated G, maybe PG, to help keep our baby modest.

Smiles all around me

I just love my family so much and I'm so thankful for them. They always bring a smile to my face and I hope I can share that with all of you. Here are the smiles that fill my life.

A tribute

I realized that I did a post about all my kids, but not the man "responsible" for them. Rob and I will have been married for six years, this coming January. I'm sure I'll do a post then too but this was just too fun, finding all these pictures. There are so many more that I could do, but I know y'all come here for the kids. Anyway, I love Rob. He's so funny and sweet. He surprises me with cleaning the kitchen when I'm overwhelmed. Or, a "date night" with movie, popcorn and stadium seating in our living room. He lets me sleep in, makes me laugh and indulges my obsession with Thanksgiving. So, here's a tribute...

I couldn't do a tribute without at least mentioning his love of Collective Soul. My name was drawn to meet them and I gave the tickets to Rob and his friend BJ. I love him that much!


Rob has often sported different styles of facial hair. This one is of Rob and Sean at Christmas at my parents house.


I definitely can't do a tribute without posting a fishing picture. I'm so glad that he has re-found fishing. He used to fish as a youngster. Here in TN he has so many opportunities to do this activity that he enjoys and loves so much. note: this is definitely NOT the biggest fish he has caught.


Rob being cute, I'm actually sound asleep. We are on our way to enjoy some deep sea fishing in Florida. Rob liked to tease me, that as soon as the boat started up, I was gone!

My little man

Sean just makes me laugh. While Kaelin is in school (about 2 1/2 hours) Sean, Savanna and I go to the activity center at Rob's school, SCO. Sometimes we play with the pool balls, or run around in the racket ball room(very loud), but most of the time he watches his best friend on TV. His best friend just happens to be Dora. Anyway, today some other students came in to blow off some steam. Sean was mystified by the two men playing ping pong. As I was buckling him into his car seat he said,
"Those mans playing football?"
"No, it's called Ping Pong"
"Me Moo?"
"No, Ping Pong" while trying not to laugh
Then, he found a little Homer Simpson toy and asked what it was
"Homer"
"Puma!"
"No, Ho-mer"
"Poo-Ma!"
By this time I am laughing out loud and now he knows its funny too, so he's laughing
"Ho, Ho, Ho Homer"
I thought I had finally won...
" Ho, Ho, Ho.....

Eat again, some chicken wings. He's almost always eating something. So, tell me, why is he "too small"?




Pretending to be a cowboy, that hat was the closest thing to a cowboy hat that we have. Poor boy!

My seven facts

Alright, I need to do my seven facts now, or else I'll forget. I was tagged by Shauna.

1. My family lived in Venezuela for three years, and that's not associated with a LDS mission.

A Bunch of Park Pictures

Kaelin is going to tell me what to type but first I'm going to tell you that we all went to this park. The last time we went it was with the Thomas' and about two years ago. Now I'll turn the time over to Kaelin...




This is the name of the park but I think it's also called the "Park of Dreams" We love that park so much that we want to play at it everyday.

We like looking at parks that are all different kinds of parks. We love them so much that we stay for 50 years.


This is the monkey bars and the castle that we see with our eyes. We love parks! If we want to go somewhere we can go to a park, if there is a special one then Daddy and Momma will take us there.

I climbed up the rock wall and there was a little slot that I could slide through and then slide down the wheel because I didn't want to be up there anymore.

There is a bridge and once I crossed it a couple times even though that's not me there in the picture. I need to go on a slide or a bridge because they are so sweet that I love them.


Sean loves really dinging music and his favorite color is blue and red but he changed his mind to blue.


This is the Thomas train that I was mad and I was sitting on it. I was mad because I couldn't find my friend Ariana or that we had to go soon.

I would love swinging on swings even though I don't swing on those kinds. I don't swing on them so much I just swing on them a little tiny bit. After I was done on it I didn't want to do it again.

Sean loves riding horses because he likes them. The reason he likes red is that he changes the color every time I ask him. The reason he likes it again is because he knows what red is. He would love to stay at my house to see Jeffrey even though he moved out.

Savanna loves being in her stroller even though she's a baby. She knows what she is supposed to be doing.

After talking to a few people I have decided that it is too hard to keep track of how many weeks old Savanna is. So, since she was born on August 7 she is 3 months today!

This is a awesome magic trick that Kaelin can do!! Maybe someone can explain to me how she does it? Don't mind the mess in the kitchen, post baking and pre clean-up. Part two is the next video.

Autumn

I love Autumn!!! Mostly because it means that Thanksgiving is just around the corner. These are some trees in the parking lot of our apartment complex. I was worried that they wouldn't be that pretty this season but they surprised us all. These are just quick shots I took on our way out of the parking lot. I'm sure that quite a few of my friends could do these trees more justice than I could with my dinky camera, but these will do.








These last three are all the same tree.

Bath Time

I think we are finished with Savanna's "baby" tub, so I thought I'd do a post about bath time.

The other night as I was carrying a naked little Savanna to the bath, Kaelin happened to walk by with perfect timing; Savanna reached out and snatched Kaelin's balloon. She held on to it for the duration of her bath.

You'll notice that in both pictures she is sort of side-ways. It's not because I'm a neglectful mother, because I'm not! She will wiggle her way over until she has at least one ear in the water. We joke and say she does it to try and drown out the noise of her siblings. Bath time=pure silence=bliss
