I know, it doesn't look broken at all, does it? He's pretty happy because I told him I would take him to Walmart since he wasn't allowed to eat or drink until after his surgery, which was scheduled at 1 pm. If you know Sean you know he's asking about breakfast as soon as her wakes up. If you know me, I really don't like Walmart. So this was a pretty big deal!
He was even more thrilled when the official greeter said she was going to give Sean a sticker. Little did we know she was going to stick it on his nose! Luckily she didn't push too hard and I stopped her before she had a chance to. He kept that sticker on the whole time in the store.
We waited in this little curtained off room until they were ready for him. He actually enjoyed his socks and gown. They let him take his socks home with him. He's showing off his new toy that he got while we were at Walmart.
When they were ready, the bundled him up in a warm blanket and laid him in his own chariot. We walked down the hall and around the corner and he was asleep. The nurses and doctors kept asking if he was given any meds to calm him. Nope. He must have just been worn out from not eating all day long.About an hour later
He came out pretty groggy. They finally let us go home when he was able to eat a Popsicle. Once I told him their stipulations he downed that Popsicle so fast and then stood up ready to leave. He is now doing just fine. There is still some internal swelling and dried grossness that is causing some congestion. One more visit to the doctor before we move and he's done. I'm just thankful that we found out before anything worse happened.
