Popcorn

We will put this song on repeat and my kids will do this over and over again. It's great when I need to get something done, until somebody falls of the bed and gets hurt. This song, called "Popcorn," is from a kids' CD called "Snacktime," by the group Barenaked Ladies (also known as BNL). It's a great CD and our kids absolutely love it, so we have to hide it at times to stay sane. Also, we like the CD too, just not as often as the kids want to hear it.

Cool Days

We have been able to enjoy some cooler weather and outdoor fun due to the recent hurricanes. We went to Shelby Farms (which I like to think of as the 'Central Park of Memphis') and Freeman Park, which is a park close to our house.

I love this picture. Kaelin holds onto our pockets if she can't hold our hand.
I think it's just such a sweet memory

My cute little ones
(I know Sean is wearing a headband, but it's functional.
It's holding his glasses on)

I Am A Pirate Pig!

Sean has started to sing, just about anything. He picked up a song from a Dora DVD that we have. It has to do with some pigs, who are pirates, and they try to steal Dora's treasure. I finally got Sean singing it on video. I took advantage of his eagerness and taped him singing some other songs too. Enjoy!

They grow up so fast!

Since, I am so far behind I'll try not to back track too much, but I need to highlight a few milestones. Kaelin recently started a Pre-K program. Courtney Santo told us about a 'gifted' program here in Memphis, and thought that Kaelin would be a good candidate. After, IQ tests, interviews and a lot of paper work...she got in! It's still pretty weird to hear her teacher talk about our 'gifted' child. This school is exactly what Kaelin needed. I think if she had a choice, she would be there all day, every day. Seeing as she is only four, it's just two and a half hours a day and two days a week.

Sean had his
2nd birthday, this past August. We did a very small family party. Mom, Dad, Kaelin, Savanna and Gaga (Grandma Moore). Here's Sean with his dinosaur cake.
Last, but not least, Savanna was born on August 7, 2008, at 2:54 am. She weighed in at 6 lbs. 2 oz. and 18 in. long. So far, she is the calmest of the three. I, for one, am extremely thankful for that attribute, even if it doesn't last long. Here's a slew of pictures.
